TUSCANY

Bolgheri

Greppicaia, 2004 (Superiore, Azienda I Greppi / Fattoria Viticcio)

A distinguished and modern label depicting a tall-standing cypress tree so reminiscent of beautiful Tuscany, for an elegant, well-balanced wine, offering still a slightly closed nose but subtle aromas of cherry and raspberry, and a silky finish. An excellent purchase. €€ (Jun 07)

Blend of 50% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Franc, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon

Morellino di Scansano & Maremma Toscana

Good
Pleasant aromas of red berries, smooth, everyday wine. € (2005)

  Ciliegiolo, 2005
(Maremma Toscana, Castelli del Grevepesa)
