Selection of Haut-Médoc Crus Bourgeois 2003

Here are some additional recommendations from the 2003 vintage of Haut-Médoc wines, tasted on November 29, 2006. Despite their differences in varietal composition, these wines were all very good, supple and pleasant, with aromas red and black fruits and toasted bread, elegant and strong yet not aggressive.
 

Château d’Agassac, 2003
Blend of 72% Cabernet Sauvignon, 28% Merlot.

Château Cambon La Pelouse, 2003
Blend of 60% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Cabernet Franc.

Château Cissac, 2003
Blend of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot, 5% Petit Verdot.

Château Malescasse, 2003
Blend of 56% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc, 4% Petit Verdot.
